We built this contraption to help with the carving of the tops. A stylus follows the
contours on a template while the machine shaves the wood down. This is not an
automated procedure. We have to move it by hand as the router carves the top.
Also,it leaves the surface VERY rough so a LOT of sanding is required after this step.
