Using the jointer to make a
true edge for joining the top
Planing the maple top

basswood body

spindle sanding the body
body after cut out on the
bandsaw
neck pocket routed
routing pickup cavity

sanding sides and edges
preparing to spray sealer coat
masking off the edge. this will
create the natural wood
binding effect
drilling hole for input jack
spraying black lacquer on the
edge
masking off the top
edge and top masking peeled
off after spraying black lacquer
mixing colors for the sunburst.
toner is added to the lacquer
and sprayed on
after spraying all three
sunburst colors
