Musical Career highlights:
<1973 - My dad gave me an electric guitar! A Sears Silvertone.

1982 - I was the lead guitarist for a high school garage band called Airborne. We played two
gigs. One was at a High School talent show and one was at a middle school dance.
We got paid a total of $20.

1982. FIrst studio experience. Recorded a song with a band called Tangent. I played rhythm
guitar because I was still not too good at playing lead. A local radio station played our song a
few times. What a thrill to hear yourself on the radio! We also played a couple gigs.

1982 - I bought my Les Paul Custom. I still have it... And I will never ever part with it.

1983 - I Became a Professional Musician! Played lead guitar in a local bar band. I was 17.
(Renegade Band)

1983 - Joined another bigger better bar band with a huge PA system! Moved away from home
and spent a lot of time broke and hungry!

1985 - I recorded  two original songs with my cousin and some of his friends. I still have a
couple 45's left. (the over-30 crowd will remember what those are!)

1985 - I played lead guitar in a 9-piece alternative rock band in Memphis, TN. The band was
called "Neon Bushmen."... and the starvation continued...

<1985 - Performed with the Neon Bushmen at The Rum Boogie Cafe on historic Beale Street
in Memphis.

1986 - Moved back to Michigan and joined a country band called Union Pacific.
I finally realized that maybe being a musician meant having no money so I enrolled in college.
This is what they call "something to fall back on."

1988 - Recorded an entire album of original rock songs that I wrote with my cousin Walter. Our
band only existed in the studio. All of us were in different bands at the time. 500 copies were
made, and I think I still have about 200 left! Our drummer was Ron Caron, who currently plays
in a band called
the Melismatics. They are a great band worth checking out!

1990 - Graduated from Michigan State University and began my career as a TV news Producer

1994 - Spent some time hanging around recording studios in Nashville with a songwriter friend.
Decided I wanted to play music again full-time. I began writing country songs.

1994 - Joined country band RIO GRANDE. Began touring in the Midwest and eventually all
over the US.

1994 - I met Jimi Hendrix's drummer Buddy Miles. He was staying at our keyboard player's
house. Not sure why I mention this, but it still impresses me!

1995 - Recorded two of my original songs. I got to hear myself on the radio again- only this
time the songs were MINE!!

1997 - I moved to Pocatello, Idaho to play with a country/rock band.

1998 - Left the music biz once again to work in TV news. $$.

2000 - Me and my dad build our first electric guitars. Nadeau Guitars is born!

2003 - Recorded hard-rock guitar instrumental  to be used as "highlight" music during sports
broadcasts. My song was used during the CBS sports broadcast of the NCAA Final Four and
the Championship Game!!! An estimated 40 million people heard it!

2003 - Teaching guitar and building guitars full-time.
